The Salvation Army Welcomes Assistant Leadership in Kalispell, MT
The Salvation Army Northwest Division welcomes Lieutenant Kabrina Lynne Hall to its location in Kalispell, MT. Lt. Hall will be the Assistant Corps Officer, working alongside Majors Steve and Merry Svenson.
In June 2016, Lt. Hall graduated from The Salvation Army Officer Training College in Ranchos Palos Verdes, CA, receiving an Associate of Arts in Ministry degree.
In 2003, she received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Church Leadership and Youth Ministries from Bethany University in Scotts Valley, CA. During her time at the college, Lt. Hall had the opportunity to travel to the northwest to do public relations for the college, as well as travelling throughout the Central and South America. After graduation, she began working for The Salvation Army in several roles throughout California and Washington, developing a specialty and passion for working with youth and teens.
She began work in Kalispell on June 29. “After almost 20 years of ministry experience, I’m excited about this new opportunity to serve people in the Kalispell community,” Lt. Hall said. “I’m also looking forward to the new adventure of being a Salvation Army officer.”
As a Salvation Army officer, Lt. Hall expects to be reassigned throughout her career. The commitment of being an officer includes moving frequently, and accepting reassignments based on career development and filling the needs of The Salvation Army locations.
Established in 1895, The Salvation Army in Kalispell provides social services to families in need. Among the programs offered are meal program, food bank, rent and utility assistance, emergency disaster services, and thrift stores. Holiday programs include holiday meals, food baskets, and toy donations. Last year, The Salvation Army in Kalispell served more than 6,000 individuals in the community
