WHO WE ARE

Echelon Seattle is a diverse collection of emerging leaders (ages 18 to 35), rising up to serve through networking, events and fundraising, and service and volunteering projects that support The Salvation Army. This group supports efforts to provide shelter, food, clothing, and countless other services to thousands of men, women, and children in need. They engage in opportunities to connect with like-minded people who want to get out into the community and just do good work!

WHAT WE DO

Echelon Seattle works to create/customize their own events as well as participate in the following: Donations & Fundraising The Red Kettle Luncheon: held annually in April, this event celebrates community leaders who are making a difference Bell Ringing: an opportunity for Echelon members to collect donations in their community for The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign Service & Volunteering The opportunities are endless! Our volunteers are the army behind “The Army.” Echelon members work directly with those The Salvation Army serves by preparing hot meals for the hungry, participating in back-to-school programs, holiday toy distribution events, National Donut Day events, and more! Networking Members engage with other young professionals as well as local CEOs or executives who are willing to share their professional and philanthropic journeys.

 

WHY WE DO IT

Echelon Seattle supports The Salvation Army in King County and its efforts to provide shelter, food, clothing, assistance for at-risk youth, and countless other services to thousands of men, women, and children in need.

Last year alone, The Salvation Army in King County:

- Served 93,208 people and provided basic needs to 264,024

- Provided meals to 179,441 people

- Collected and distributed 14,785 toys plus 2,162 gift cards

 

WHAT MAKES A STRONG ECHELON ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER?

Someone who is active in their community, passionate about The Salvation Army, and willing to spend their time celebrating and serving The Army’s mission of ‘Doing The Most Good.’
